Will God Punish those who does harm or evil on innocent people?

Will God Punish those who does harm or evil on innocent people? Sometimes i wonder what made people threaten people or try to kill them over some problems? Will it help solved the problems or make the person realli happy? I pray to God to punish those people who rape, kill, rob and threaten those harmless innocent people.
